1) Eradicate all fear! How? By recognizing that fear and faith are synonymous; because fear is inverted faith. To invert something means to reverse the position, order, or condition thereof. In other words, fear means you simply believe more in what you don’t want to happen TO you versus what you actually want to happen FOR you. Example: Imagine for a moment that you are standing at a cross walk, and the light giving permission for you to cross is red. Looking to your left you notice the oncoming traffic and realize that if you cross without having the right away you risk the potential of getting hit by oncoming traffic. You then begin to fear the inevitable until you are giving the green light (right away) to cross safely with the flow of traffic. The fear (or belief) in the possibility of being hit leads you to wait for the right away to cross at the appropriate time. You cross when you believe (or have the faith) to cross the intersection safely. Therefore, it is impossible to not exercise your faith. So if you’re going to use your faith… use it SOLELY for that which you truly desire.2) Pursue your passion, and let money pursue you!A multi millionaire business man once told me “If you’re working a job that you are not passionate about then every dollar you earn is in vain. Pursue your purpose… and money will pursue you.” We each have a need to financially support ourselves. However, if you’re working a job that you dislike because you need the money for living expenses is okay. I advise that you use a portion of your paycheck to help finance a particular goal or dream you’d like to pursue. Whatever your passion, purpose, or goal may be, always be sure to use at least 5-10% of your take home pay towards paying for the opportunity to pursue this desire.3) God is your Source… and a job is simply a resource to help you finance your lifestyle, AND your dreams and goals.Putting aside “religion”, I believe that we each have a “god-part” us that desire to express itself in our everyday life. Our spirit part of us speaks to our heart and mind through our sincere desires and most passionate wants. Example: the dream you once had to own a small business; graduate with a Masters Degree, become a musician or writer, etc is the spiritual part of you that will allow your talents to make way for you. Once you are in pursuit or your dreams, goals, and/or purpose the money you need to finance your lifestyle will manifest itself through these same efforts.4) Overcoming fear through my “DreamBIG” motto: “Dream big, plan, get excited, and take action now… for the world is waiting to cheer your success.”Identify the intent behind the dream that you have. In other words, how will you and the world benefit from your dream coming into fruition. Make a personal and business plan that you will follow to ensure the completion of your dream. Always stay excited about your dream and your plans, and eradicate all negative people and suggestions about your dream from your life. And do something (even if it’s something small) everyday from your personal and business plan towards the manifestation of your dream.5) Draft a personal statement that you feel is believable and doable: mine is “I will do each day in an efficient manner (legally and ethically) all that is necessary to accomplish my goals and dreams in 2013.-DreamBIG!
